What's Included
What's Actually Involved
The flywheel & pedal-arm alignment — a real look at the part that separates a clean pro job from an expensive mistake.

An elliptical hides its misery down in the drivetrain. That heavy flywheel, the crank arms, and the roller wheels all have to line up to a hair. The manual makes it look like four bolts and a shrug — but get the alignment wrong and every stride sounds like a coffee grinder full of gravel.
Hang the heavy flywheel and start the axle square
That flywheel can run 20 to 30 pounds and it has to seat on the axle dead square while you start the bolt by hand. No power tools until it's threaded true.
Set the pedal rails so the rollers track center
The two pedal arms have to sit dead parallel so the roller wheels ride down the middle of each ramp, not the edge.
Phase the crank arms 180° and torque to spec
Both crank arms have to sit exactly opposite each other and torque down clean, or your stride goes lopsided.
A flywheel hung square, pedal rails set parallel, and crank arms phased and torqued right — that's the difference between a whisper-quiet glide and a gravel grinder. That's why the elliptical drivetrain earns a Pain in the Ass Factor of 8. Let us dial it in, partner.
