IKEA & Furniture Assembly

Flat-pack furniture built right, dialed in square, and your space left clean.

Allen wrench got you beat, partner? We assemble IKEA and every other flat-pack brand — bookshelves, dining room tables and chairs, entertainment centers, KALLAX units, bedframes, desks, dressers, office chairs, work benches, Decked USA tool box truck bed installations, BBQ grills, bicycles, and toys. Drawers get aligned so they close square, doors hang true, and every joint gets a once-over so your piece stands solid and safe. When we're done we fold all the packing material neatly back into the box it came in and set it out by your trash cans — no mountain of cardboard left in your living room. Clean, comfortable Southern hospitality is our specialty.

IKEA wordless instruction manual comic strip showing a stick figure assembling furniture from sunrise to moonlight

The famous wordless IKEA manual — sunrise to moonlight, one Allen wrench, and a prayer. IKEA tools are designed to be the last resort if you were stranded on a deserted island.

Cherry wood pub table with leather swivel bar stools assembled by DR Assembly

Bar room furniture is our jam too — pub table and swivel stools, plus pool cue stands and racks. Game room, meet your new best friend.

Everybody thinks flat-pack is easy till they're three hours in, staring at a wordless diagram with a leftover bag of cam locks and a drawer that won't close square. A PAX wardrobe or a big KALLAX run has a hundred-plus little connectors that all have to go in the right way, in the right order — miss the order and you're taking it back apart.

1

Sort the hardware and read the (wordless) diagram

Cam locks, dowels, and screws all look close but they aren't — we sort them and map the assembly order before the first panel goes together.

The risk: Grab the wrong connector or skip a step and you'll be backtracking half the build — or worse, cranking a cam lock that cracks the particle board.
2

Build it dead square and true

Panels have to go together perfectly square so drawers glide and doors hang even — we check the diagonals as it comes together, not after.

The risk: A frame that's even slightly out of square means drawers that rub, doors that swing open on their own, and a piece that racks and loosens over time.
3

Align the drawers and doors, then snug every joint

Drawer fronts and doors get dialed in so the gaps are even, and every cam lock gets a final snug so the whole piece stands solid.

The risk: Leave a joint loose or a door misaligned and the unit racks itself a little looser every time you open a drawer — until it's a wobbly mess with leftover parts.

Hardware sorted, frame built dead square, drawers and doors dialed in, every joint snugged — that's the difference between furniture that stands solid for years and a wobbly heap with a bag of spare cam locks. That's why a big flat-pack build earns a Pain in the Ass Factor of 7. Allen wrench got you beat? Let us handle it, partner.

Flying Dragon pirate ship kids bed with trundle drawer and mast sail assembled by DR Assembly in a Florida bedroom
Featured Build

Argh! The Flying Dragon Pirate Ship Bed

Pirate ship bed with trundle drawer, cannons, and full mast — built plank by plank, square and solid. Argh! 🏴‍☠️

Themed kid beds are a whole different animal — dozens of panels, a trundle drawer that has to roll true, and a mast that has to stand straight. We built this one solid and freestanding, checked every cam lock, and folded the cardboard back in the box out by the bins.
